The New York Times has given a huge endorsement to Kerala as a top global travel destination in the post-pandemic phase.

The New York Times has published its start-of-the-year list of some of the most stunning places to visit around the world in 2023. God's Own Country was the only Indian state to make the list, which also featured global hotspots like London and Morioka, Japan. According to the survey study, Kerala is a must-visit destination because of its beaches, backwaters, food, and age-old cultural traditions. The study also highlights Kumarakom, a small village in Kerala located on the shores of the Vembanad Lake.
