The New York Times has given a huge endorsement to Kerala as a top global travel destination in the post-pandemic phase.
The New York Times has published its start-of-the-year list of some of the most stunning places to visit around the world in 2023. From northern lights hotspot Tromso in Norway to bustling Auckland in New Zealand. The newspaper has compiled an interactive article about where to experience the best of adventure, natural beauty, and culture.
God's Own Country was the only Indian state to make the list, which also featured global hotspots like London and Morioka, Japan. According to the survey study, Kerala is a must-visit destination because of its beaches, backwaters, food, and age-old cultural traditions. The New York Times applauded Kerala Tourism for its efforts to provide tourists with an authentic view of Kerala village life. The study also highlights Kumarakom, a small village in Kerala located on the shores of the Vembanad Lake. Along with its scenic backwaters, it also offers a variety of fun activities, such as weaving ropes from coconut fiber, paddling through canals, and climbing palm trees.
